Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
API Cost X is built around a simple privacy position: we do not track users for advertising, we do not sell or share personal data for marketing, and we cannot read customer content that is protected by keys we do not hold.

1. Terms of Service
By using API Cost X, you agree to use the service lawfully, keep your account credentials secure, and avoid activity that disrupts the service or harms other users. You are responsible for the files, prompts, API keys, settings, and outputs you submit or generate through your account.
You retain ownership of your content. You give API Cost X only the limited permission needed to operate the service, process tasks you request, maintain account functionality, provide support, secure the platform, and comply with legal obligations.
Unlimited use and resource limits
When API Cost X describes a plan or feature as “unlimited,” it means there is no fixed count of supported tasks for ordinary use of that plan or feature. It does not mean infinite compute. Each task is subject to platform capacity, queueing, fair use controls, third-party API limits, and a maximum allocation of 6 GB RAM per task. Tasks that exceed available resources, threaten service stability, or violate these terms may be queued, stopped, throttled, or rejected.
Acceptable use
Do not use API Cost X to violate law, infringe rights, distribute malware, attack or probe systems without permission, evade rate limits, harvest data without authorization, submit content you do not have permission to process, or interfere with the normal operation of the service.
Third-party services and AI output
Some tasks may connect to third-party model, API, hosting, payment, or infrastructure providers. Those services may have their own terms and privacy practices. AI and API outputs can be incomplete, incorrect, or unsuitable for a particular use, so you are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them.
2. Privacy Policy
API Cost X collects the minimum information needed to operate the service: account information such as email address, authentication data, plan and payment status, support messages you send us, security events, task status, error records, and operational metadata needed for reliability, billing, abuse prevention, and support.
We do not use advertising pixels, cross-site behavioral tracking, or profiling for marketing. We do not sell personal information. We do not use customer content to train AI models. Essential cookies or similar technologies may be used for login, security, checkout, and core site operation.
Customer content and keys
Customer files, prompts, task data, and outputs are treated as customer content. When content is encrypted with a key API Cost X does not hold, API Cost X cannot read that content and cannot recover it if the key is lost. We only process customer content as needed to perform the tasks you request, route data to services you configure or select, provide support you request, maintain security, or comply with law.
Sharing and retention
We share information only with service providers needed to operate API Cost X, such as hosting, payment processing, email, support, security, and API/model providers involved in tasks you initiate. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect the service, users, or the public. We retain account, billing, security, and operational records only as long as needed for the purposes described here, unless a longer period is required by law.
Access, deletion, and choices
You may contact us to request access, correction, export, or deletion of personal information associated with your account. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. Some information may be retained where needed for security, fraud prevention, accounting, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.
3. Security, changes, and contact
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate for a small software service, including encryption where applicable, access controls, limited operational logging, and separation of customer keys from API Cost X access. No internet service can guarantee perfect security or uninterrupted availability.
We may update these terms and policies from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of API Cost X after an update means you accept the updated terms.
